3 Works in POV Alex Fierro
22 Jun 2019
Magnus was, if Alex were to describe him, the type of person who seemed to go by their lives (deaths?) as smoothly as possible, not showing much signs of distress or mood swings at all. So when in the week following Thanksgiving Magnus seemed to shut off completely and never leaving his room to the extent of not showing up not even to eat, she begins to worry.
Magnus is grieving and Alex wants to help.

Our jobs as einherjar were never over. Until Ragnarok, we would always have more quests to undertake, more battles to fight. But we always knew, looming over us, that the unbreakable curse of fate might end our eternity at any moment. We, the einherjar, knew we were destined to die.
The world will end no matter what. Our final battle will come, no matter what. The big picture can never be changed.
All we could do was alter the details in the meantime. That’s how we took control of our destiny. But the world DOES end.
And this is the story of how it ended, how me, Magnus, Halfborn, Mallory, Jack the poor dumb little sword and everyone else I've ever cared about died.
