When he tries to speak his mind, he chokes and splutters. And maybe, if his message broke through another way, he could say everything he needed in a breathless litany. Tell Lucas of his love relentlessly, inundate him with it so thoroughly he'd grow sick of it. But before the barbed wire can be untwisted, Lucas needs to notice. It's all easier said than done."
