The year is 1930, and Dr. Tugger Deuteronomy’s life mostly consists of eating, sleeping and trying not to get killed whenever he goes to work. His job as a treasure hunting archaeologist keeps him constantly on the move, and makes sure his thoughts don’t stray too much towards the lonely place his home and family used to occupy in his life… but he’s left that pain behind him now. He gets by just fine, thank you very much, he doesn’t need anyone but himself. But he can’t outrun the past forever, and when his estranged older brother goes missing, Tugger packs up and sets off for Europe, where he ends up embroiled in a quest far more important and dangerous than he could have possibly imagined. Myths become fact, love leaps off the pages of fairy tales and into reality, and family… well, family can always find ways to surprise you.
A human adventure AU based on Indiana Jones 3 and my obsession with Greek mythology that’s persisted since I was in primary school. (Knowledge of neither of these things is required to read!)

AFTER MEETING AND FALLING IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER Quaxo and Tugger travel to London in order to meet with Bustopher Jones, one of the walthiest men in London, head of the Jones family and Quaxo's uncle in order to make him accept Tugger as well as Quaxo's sexuality.
They have to adjust back to their life in London while hiding their relationship and trying to make Quaxo's rich family accept the poor, cheesy, lovable dork Quaxo started dating. But could these things lead to Quaxo getting disowned? To both of them ending up in prison? Maybe in a mental hospital? Or worse, sentenced to death.Series

Munkustrap and Tugger's relationship had never run smooth, mostly thanks to their very different personalities, but when Tugger takes an interest in the newly arrived nephew of the esteemed Bustopher Jones things get complicated. Quaxo himself has little interest in making friends. All he wants to do is to look after his twin sister and keep his magic hidden, he didn't think that was too much to ask. But things get even more complicated when even more new arrivals show up, this time with links to the long banished Macavity. Despite this the Rum Tum Tugger is a curious cat who just can't help but get involved, and it turns out Munkustrap isn't so different to him after all. And we all know what they say about cats and curiosity.

But when the engagement Is stolen and he gets falsely targeted, he finds himself stuck with a group of hitchhikers, One of which being the enigmatic, but snarky Quaxo Mistoffelees.
Feelings are realized, old memories are unburied, and secrets are revealed as Tugger desperately tries to reunite with his brother while wrestling with his overpowering homosexuality.
(I originally set this in 1933 but then I realized that would be during the Great Depression and that would kind of be a problem) -
