At first, no one noticed anything besides how irritable he was.
It wasn’t anything new; Bakugou had always been a touchy guy, yelling at anyone who touched him or even gave him a halfway sideways look. These levels were new though— he was louder, crueler, choosing to isolate himself and arrive seconds before class began or late than to walk the halls. He was the first one to shower and leave the dorm and the last one to go to bed. His class just assumed it was frustration with his less than stellar internship. They all unanimously, silently, decided to give him a little space.
It was when he snapped at Kirishima that they realized there was something wrong. -

Summary
The abomination stood tall, grinning in perpetual deformity.Hitoshi’s voice couldn’t come out – he reached for Izuku but he was far away and Hitoshi couldn’t move. Izuku swayed in place. His armor began to crack, it fell down in broken parts. Hitoshi’s felt his world crumble along with it. He screamed as his best friend collapsed on the ground like a broken doll. Black goo began to mix quietly with the warm running blood oozing from Izuku’s wounds. Red and black mixed together in a swirling waltz – together once again, as it should be.
The earth fed on that ether and trembled, delighted.
Or:The visit to the USJ along with class 1-A should have marked the beginning of a bright new future for the gen students – to learn what a hero was, to put regrets to rest, to forge new friendships and to accept the goodwill offered by their teachers. Instead, it brought the opportunity to an Old Evil to get retribution – the looming shadow of their past finally caught up to them – it was a chance Shigaraki wasn't going to miss.
