The World Meeting is just wrapping up, and despite being the host country, America has yet to show his face. A few of his worried friends follow Canada to find him in Arlington National Cemetery, where he is crying over the grave of his dead brother, the South. There's just one thing... the South is standing right next to him while he does. The grave is empty.

A mysterious book is dropped in the lap of one of the Nations, and after some extraneous orders of business, a select few Nations are gathered in New York City once more to investigate. The Book's magic ignites, and the Nations of the world are dragged, rather unwillingly, into a long, long week of learning far more about each other than they ever wanted to. Secrets are unearthed, histories are relived, and the stage is set for disasters yet to come.

Summary
