He barely knows who he is, he has a voice in his head that definitely knows more then it lets on, and a stuffed bear is telling him and his classmates to kill each other. Although, to be fair, no one knows whats going on. All they do know for sure, is that they have to escape. No matter what.
Or: The future foundations screws up the memory wipe, and Izuru Kamukura and Hajime Hinata have to coexist, which changes the killing game bit by bit.
