Summary
So many ships in Danganronpa, either canon, non-canon or not-even-thought-of. This fic is basically my creation of a Tsurezure Children-based idea, if the Tragedy didn't happen, and the students were free to express their feelings to their significant someone.
No destruction, murder or despair, just teenagers go through hell, trying to understand love for another person... Wait, isn't that almost despair? Welp, there wouldn't be hope without despair, and these teenagers need a lot of it! -

Summary
Hajime Hinata and Saihara Shuichi are paired together to work together on a phantom thief case in a city far from their hometown. A particularly tricky one to solve, but Hajime has been having consistent run-ins with the phantom thief in question by pure luck(whether it's his luck or the thief's...bad luck? He isn't sure).
Having to move away from their hometown, Shuichi and him also finds a new temporary apartment and roommate.
Shuichi, however, has been less focused on the phantom thief, but more on his acquaintance, who he has yet to figure out is his intriguing enigma of a friend and new roommate, Kokichi Ouma.
When secrets are unraveled, how will everyone react? It's inevitable that once the case has been solved, their new lives with their roommates will be stripped away from them anyway.

Summary
Shuichi tries to be subtle, when he's dissociating. He doesn't like to worry his friends, so he plays it off like he's fine, whenever he can. However, some of his friends are just too perceptive. (No they're not, he's just terrible at being subtle.)
Ryoma is the first one who seems to notice, one day, that Shuichi is definitely Not Okay. So he takes charge, and takes Shuichi out of all of his problems for a while. He understands. And it works.Ryoma then helps Shuichi lessen one of his problems, and sits with him as nothing gets better.
Side plot: Kaede tries to explain to Kaito what dissociation is, which results in him having a self-discovery that he didn't want to have.

With Saihara's jaded view, all of this seemed too good to be true.
