My ridiculous, hopefully longwinded, and definitely a little devastating contribution to MFMM Whumptober 2019. Just like last year, this will be a collection of as many of the prompts as I manage to fill. Summaries, ratings, and warnings at the beginning of each chapter. Happy whumping, everyone!

Summary
What struck Jack later was how completely ordinary the box was. Plain brown, simple block lettering, delivered to his desk via intradepartmental mail and placed in the inbox beside his computer. Just like a hundred other packages he’d received at work over the years. And because it was so ordinary, he very nearly ignored it, very nearly left it unopened while he went about his day.
But today, for some reason, he didn’t. Today, he took the time to open it, read the letter, examine the contents.
And that’s when everything changed.
A modern AU addition to MFMM's Whumptober Fanfic Challenge.

Summary
Phryne squeezed her eyes tighter, trying to figure out what had happened—it wasn’t like her to overindulge to the point of ending up in compromising positions. Well, not this sort of compromising, at least. And besides, she remembered with sudden clarity, the only place she’d intended to end up the night before was Jack Robinson’s bed. Between the mildew, the cold, and the obvious lack of a fellow body in this—she presumed—bed, she had a sinking suspicion that such an event had not transpired.

Summary
Phryne Fisher did not give up, she reminded herself as her fingernails scrabbled at the edge of the barrel in search of leverage. Even as her vision began to dim and splinters dug their way into her palms and her movements grew more sluggish without oxygen to fuel them, she continued to struggle against her attacker, hoping against all hope that this wouldn’t be the last fight of her life.
