Summary
Very short one-shot crossover with Ursula K Le Guin's The Left Hand of Darkness. Basically: Vulcan is a pre-contact world, Spock is an instructor at the Vulcan Science Academy, and Kirk is there to convince Vulcan to join Starfleet (the Ekumen in the Hainish Cycle). The plot follows the first chapter of the book for the most part, so please check out the original if you like it!

Summary
A tingling sensation began to claw at every inch of his skin. Jim had the strange impression of his head being barely above the surface of a raging sea, kicking and straining against the undertow, about to be pulled underneath. He was fighting tooth and nail for control, against…something.
Something inside of him.

Summary
She was just panicking.
She was getting too deep into her head about this.
Sylvia was just going to the theatre and a dinner with her best friend. And her best friend’s little brother and his boyfriend who Sylvia had most definitely made out with back in the Academy a few times before deciding that they were better as friends who didn’t makeout and instead did things like play chess and discuss their classes in such depth that they became mini lectures on their own. Jim was a great friend and that was all Sylvia considered him—especially now that he was dating Spock of all people she had to ask how that even happened—she knew herself. She knew she would make it awkward and weird because she had not seen him in years and she would just run her mouth like she always did whenever she got a bit nervous because she was going to be with Micahel and Spock and Jim all at once and it was a lot like a double date, but it wasn’t because for that to happen she would actually be dating Michael which, unfortunately, she wasn’t!
Just breathe.

Summary
There was Michael, rejected from her first dream—her first love, found in the stars—and scrambling to protect her next dream—her second love, found in the rush of blood in her veins and bruises on her skin.
There was Michael, winning.
She was here at the Federation’s Twenty-Second Olympics, and she was wearing the red robes of Vulcan, and she may have even belonged here.

Summary
McCoy had felt a bit awkward when Kirk had invited him to a week of shore leave at the isolated cabin rather than Spock, but the Vulcan was apparently insistent that he was not in need of a vacation and, truth be told, it was nice to be spending time with Jim without feeling like a third wheel.

Summary
Academy Au:
T’Pring attends the Academy along with her intended mate, Spock. Yet, she is fighting feelings for the girl in her literature class and unfortunately some days it’s harder to control emotions than others; like when Uhura readers “Still I Rise” during her presentation and T’Pring simply can’t take the amount of beautiful and grace thrown her way.
Excerpt: “ It would have been illogical to forget such a beautiful sight as the dark haired human. Uhura’s stare always spoke of fascination and intrigue. Her cheery attitude never overshadowed her quick wit. She was intelligent, confident and her dulcet voice rang out like song every time she spoke. A wave of heat washed over T’pring as she glanced in Uhura’s direction. It was a warmth she did not fully understand...”

“I’m Rey, by the way.”
His grin widens, and it should probably be illegal, what it does to her. “Ben.”
She sneaks a glance over at the screen—and her smile turns down as she reads what he has written there, snapping her head away before he can catch her. She takes in his embarrassed flush and his nervous behavior, and she can’t for the life of her figure out why on earth he’s writing about a fully erect penis.
Rey thinks to herself that this is exactly why she doesn’t people watch.
In which Ben should be more careful where he writes his smut.

Summary
After Chekov's accidental death, Kirk finds himself starting to fall apart. A grief counselor distantly related to Guinan tells him that of all the realities that featured Pavel Chekov, this one was the only one where Chekov died young, unmarried, and alone. Shaken by the conversation, Jim goes to Spock and Bones for comfort. Implied kirk/bones/spock. Very angsty with lots of hugs and physical comfort.

Summary
The mission was simple: establish diplomatic cooperation and mining negotiations with the people of Seskilles VII. But with a sensor-dead atmosphere, an abandoned planet, and a landing party beaming in blindly, nothing is as intended. There is a mystery building in what should have been a simple mission, and Mr. Spock is paying the price of the unknown. A lost population is desperate to communicate, and there is only one telepath aboard the Enterprise.
