Eijiro poked his head out of the water and looked all around the dimly lit cave as he carefully surveyed his surroundings just as he was trained to do. This was where he'd tracked his prey to so they had to be around here somewhere. When he finally located the mark in question, he narrowed his piercing, red eyes and then ducked down so that only his eyes were still above the water. He observed silently from his hiding place near some jagged rocks as he patiently waited for the perfect opportunity to strike. It was dark in the cave but the moonlight that shined through the large hole in the ceiling provided enough light so that he could make out a silhouette. He watched it intently as he knew that it belonged to the siren he'd been tracking.
He gripped the handle of his exceedingly sharp dagger that was carved from the finest shell gold could buy, and then pulled it free from its sheath upon his waist, careful not to create any ripples in the water by his crimson tail. All he had to do now was wait for the perfect opportunity to strike...

This was the worst mission ever.
He'd been aware there were risks attached to rising to become one of the most prolific rookie heroes in the country, but he'd mostly considered the ones like being targeted by villain organizations or losing the last remaining illusions of having an actual private life. Not having the government insist he come along as the backup muscle when they hired three heroes from his company for some vague investigatory mission on an uninhabited island.
In which Bakugou thinks he's going to have the worst week of his life but the opposite kind of happens.

Bakugou was forced out of the house by his annoying ass house mates who suggested he go fishing. He absolutely hated it. It was boring and dull and pointless when there's a grocery store a few blocks away that sells fish. However, something interesting did end up happening. Well...interesting may not be the right word. Infuriating, frustrating, all other synonyms meaning annoying would be the right thing to call it. He needs answers, though, so he goes back. However, he was not expecting that to be the answer.
