Summary
The naiad turned around, spotting a familiar face. It was the king of Sparta himself, Menelaus. Though, his demeanor was wildly different from what they had come to expect; he was disheveled, and his eyes burnt with a fury that would rival the king of the gods. He grasped Marion’s forearm, stepping forward as they leaned back in shock, “My friend. We need to talk,” A dark glint crossed over his face, casting a shadow where one shouldn’t have been, “The hounds of war are howling… and they hunger for Troy’s blood."
------------
A story about a spirit from Greek mythology who believes way too much in their own godhood, and when they're pulled into the trojan war they must face the consequences of their hubris. This is a story that was intended to be submitted for a school writing competition, but I went around 15 pages over the limit, so i'm posting it here for you all to enjoy!

Meanwhile, Petra of Ithaca is determined to prove herself worthy to Odysseus. As his blood-sworn companion, Petra is bound to the oath that binds them, even though her feelings for him often cloud her judgment. Summary
After seven years apart, Odysseus sets out to Sparta to win Penelope’s hand. But when her outcast uncle, Hippocoon, gets there first and seizes the palace, Penelope escapes with her cousins and finds a reluctant ally to protect them. With Sparta in chaos and the armies of the Peloponnese scattered, Odysseus must rely on the ambitious Agamemnon to unite the kingdoms and find Penelope.
AKA an adaptation/combination of the Oath and Hippocoon's attack on Sparta. It's a sequel to my other fic, The Weaver and the Carver.

Summary
It could've been her house, her and Clytemnestra, once. Before the bickering and the jealousy had grown up between them. Helen shut her eyes, lost herself for a second in the layers. Someone laughing, a shrieking child, the clattering of cutlery. Wished this could've been hers instead.
Penelope was arriving tomorrow – Helen wondered what she'd think of them both. Clytemnestra's words, maybe half-deserved, rang in her ears. Helen curled her hands into fists.
"You know what people are going to assume, right?" Paris' voice broke the silence. Helen opened her eyes.

Summary
There was a glint in the Lieutenant’s eyes that raised the hairs on the back of Achilles’ neck. He frowned. “What are you plotting?”
That is for me to know,” Odysseus replied, smooth as ever, “and no man to find out. Do what you must with your command of the Myrmidons, take whatever leave seems best to you, but be ready for my call.”
Achilles sighed. “I am convinced that one day I will become so tangled in your schemes I will hang myself.”
Odysseus’s grin did nothing to settle his nerves. “Nonsense. My schemes are far too well placed for such careless mistakes.”
“Ah,” Achilles said with a nod, "so if I am hanged then, it will be you who ties my noose.”

If there was a game to be played in Sparta, and that game involved kissing the royal couple, Paris would only be breaking the rules by kissing Helen.

Summary
The tale of Odysseus is one that has been retold over countless millennia, from the mouths of poets, of authors, and historians and storytellers. But has it ever been told from the mouth of the man himself ?
This is a familiar tale, and a familiar story - the Iliad, entombed in history as ancient as the land of Greece. This is the story of the Iliad as told from the mouth of the man who made it all happen - from the mouth of the Silver-tongued prince of Ithaca. From the mouth of Odysseus
Watch as he navigates the cruelty of the war, as lovers are ripped from each other, daughters die, heroes fall, and he survives it all - armed with a quick mind and a sharp tongue.
This is not a story of heroes and gods and myth
This is a story of love, of loss and war and death
This is the story of the most human of the Grecian heroes(A retelling of the Iliad fron the POV of Odysseus. Unedited first draft of my first novel)

Summary
An odd coolness in the air told Patroclus that they were finally unwatched. Achilles continued. “If you want to you can. You know I am not the jealous type.”
And Patroclus laughed. “You absolutely are,” he said, “but the sex is so good when you are a bit jealous.”
Patroclus spends a long, strange evening going over some loot from a prisoner exchange with some kings. Achilles gets jealous.
