Sex with Kat would be funny and light. She didn’t want him for who he was, or know enough to be afraid of parts of it. She didn’t want to be given more than a night or two. And it would be an empty pleasure, but lots of what felt good didn’t add up to much later. Pilots frakked around all the time. It wasn’t quite allowed, but it wasn’t a big priority to police hookups. He'd had plenty of pilots taken away, and here was a pilot he could take for himself.

She was boxed in with no time to get through her snide pack of pilots ready to savour her social torment. Kara braced herself to smile politely, and withstand the absolutely aggressive eye contact as Lee put his fingers on the strings.

Gaeta could relate to that shunted ship on so many levels.

Really, there were so many insults in there at once Gaeta wisely decided to sidestep them all and just nod his acquiescence.'A story about how Starbuck pressgangs Gaeta into procuring some of Lieutenant Hoshi's fancy coffee- and it goes just about as well as expected.
