Summary
Crowley's about at the end of his rope. His internship is nothing more than washing all the equipment used by the interns who actually do real scientific research and his boss hates him. His friends either urge him to keep at it or encourage him to drink and forget. Neither of which are particularly helpful.
Then, one night, he finds something on the beach.

Summary
“Well, that was a thing,” Crowley said once they were out of earshot. Without talking about it, they were both heading down the field, towards the lake where the photographer (and likely a few more people from the TV crew) was waiting.
“That was a wedding,” Aziraphale replied, surprised at his own annoyance that somebody called a wedding a ‘thing’.
“Yeah, obviously, didn’t miss that part,” Crowley said with a shrug, and waved abruptly in Aziraphale’s general direction. “Neither did you, from the looks of it, since you’re dressed like a wedding bride and everything.”
“Excuse me, I am a—“ Aziraphale stopped himself, and started over.

Summary
Aziraphale leaned on the deck railing, pushing up onto his tiptoes for a better view of the show. A huge snout broke the water first, fangs glittering, dark scales dancing with all the colors of sunset. And then sharp wavy fins along the spine, followed by a long, undulating body. Serpentine, in many ways, but appropriately adjusted for the environment.
The massive head swung up high above Aziraphale, then lowered gently down and snuffled into his hair. “Hi, angel. Sorry I’m late.”

Summary
“Mistake?” Crawley echoed, eyebrows climbing high in mock concern. “I thought your lot didn’t make mistakes.”
“W–well,” he stammered, feeling his face flush hot and cold as he anxiously tried to work it out. “The Almighty doesn’t make mistakes, naturally, b–but—some of these cherubs, you know—someone might have—misunderstood instructions, got a bit sloppy…” He shivered, suddenly too frightened to say another word.
“Could be,” shrugged the demon. “Not really my concern, though. Just following orders. Always do what I’m told, me.”
What happened before, during, and after A Companion to Owls from Aziraphale's POV. Contains references to events from "A Fair Test," "Clever Angels," and "Blameless."

Summary
Despite himself, Aziraphale inched a little closer, returning to looking out over the shimmering water when Crawley started to turn his head. What was he doing? Crawley was a demon! Though, it didn't really seem fair. The creature wouldn't even kill a goat, much less do something truly evil. Gabriel didn't blink an eye at the idea of killing Job's three children. Why was he the Supreme Archangel while his kind, though mischievous, friend had been cast down to Hell? It just didn't make sense!
But maybe it was a demonic trick! Something to make him second guess the ineffable will of God? But he had been ready to go to Hell for his sin, and Crawley turned him down. Said he'd never tell. It certainly didn't seem like a trick.
He chanced a quick glance over, and Crawley had moved closer, too! Only scant inches separated them on the long rock. But it felt like much too big a distance. He just couldn't bear it anymore!
Looking behind them to make sure no one else was watching or listening, Aziraphale said softly, "I don't want to be alone all the time, Crawley."

Summary
Infront of him was a chubby, platinum blonde-haired man, who wore a white overcoat, button up, trousers, and a small, white bowtie, with white shoes. His eyes were watercolour blue, with dabs of regret, fear, and sadness, aswell as a hint of remorse. He held his hands infront of him like a nervous 11 year-old on their first day of secondary school. The man stood before him was a man he refused to remember. A man that Crowley tried to push down the longing memories of as much as he could. Infront of him was the man that forgave him.
The man that was called Aziraphale. Former Principality, former Guardian of The Eastern Gate, current Supreme Archangel of Heaven.
Fuck.
