Between Kirishima’s body language and teasing, he had a tendency to leave more meaning in the silence rather than the conversation. For Bakugou, it was all or nothing – if someone wanted him to read between the lines, well damn it, they should have written something between the lines.
Luckily, when it came to one another, they were pretty good at finding the meaning anyway.
When inclement weather forces Kirishima and Bakugou to take refuge in an abandoned house deep in the woods, they become tangled up in a grim and gloomy subplot involving the spirits of an outcast father and his sheltered daughter.
They also find themselves inclined to acknowledge one another's slow-blooming feelings.
