Summary
When a great upheaval engulfs their world in a mystical forest, San begrudgingly finds herself leader of a pack of loathsome humans: The runty crybaby Chihiro, the runaway soldier Nausicaa, the clever witches Kiki and Sheeta, and the brooding artist Sasaki. Their fledgling coven embarks on a quest to find Moro, who has surely returned from death, and seek her blessing. But the path ahead is as treacherous as it is wondrous. Hungry beasts, conniving spirits, and embittered humans litter the path like so many leaves. Yet by learning to rely on other humans, San discovers a new sense of purpose, an affection she'd never known before. A grand friendship that will last a lifetime.

Summary
Two years after the movie, Lord Yupa and Prince Asbel return from their travels in the toxic jungle. They’ve discovered a second part to the prophecy, revealing that Nausicaä has a much more important role than anyone thought, and that there is another important person involved with the prophecy. As they try to figure out the legend, Nausicaä and Asbel become close, and romance begins to blossom. But things get complicated when a prince from a neighboring kingdom arrives, asking for Nausicaä’s hand in marriage. This prince also has a deep connection with the earth, and seems to be able to control the giant insects better than Nausicaä herself. Could he be the other person in the prophecy? And what will become of Nausicaä and Asbel’s relationship now that another man has entered the picture?
Adventure/Romance/Drama/Friendship/Fantasy/Sci-Fi. Pairings: Nausicaä and Asbel, Nausicaä and OC. Rated for some violence.
