4 Works in Kageyama "Mob" Shigeo & Everyone
Toshi Densetsu - Urban Legend
Setting: Spice City, several decades after the esper-terrorist group, Scar, attempted global domination
Espers are a thing of the past. No one has seen of nor heard of an actual esper in so long that they are considered “extinct”. The mention of such beings is considered to be a myth or an urban legend. To be an esper in Spice City today would be considered a capital crime, for which the government has established and maintained an anti-esper task force.
Enter Shigeo Kageyama. 14 year-old student and bully magnet. He lives his life in constant fear that someone will discover his secret. That he is, in fact, an esper.
The political landscape is shifting, and espers are drawn into the public eye. A week before the world summit that will shape official policy on psychic powers, Kageyama Shigeo is pulled out of class by agents of the Japanese government. He does not return home.
As the tide of public opinion turns, it will take everything Reigen has to keep his kids safe. And with Mob, time is not on their side.
Things have been a little rocky between Reigen and Mob ever since the fight they had last week on their way home from a job. Even though he tries to hide it, Reigen is worried about what this will mean for the business, for their friendship, for everything.
When a client requests help with a malicious spirit at a concert hall, Reigen figures it might give them all a much needed break. A high paying job? With the benefits of free admission to the back stage? Sign them up! Maybe they can finally enjoy something. Maybe Mob will stop being awkward and upset around him.
It seems, fate has different ideas, because Mob is a little...maimed.
(Alternatively: Something happens that nobody is really prepared for, and Mob is struggling with the changes happening around him.)

As exams come his way, Mob can't help but let anxiety get the better of him. So what does the entirety of class 1-A do when faced with a highly stressed-out classmate with a volatile quirk?
They try to help of course. Each in their own way.
Might take a while to get there though...
