    Summary

Making it through this crazy life with Melina and Sharon.

It is surprising, the types of love that a person can find even when not actively searching for that sort. But friendships are born in various places between the most unsuspecting of persons. And those who don't expect ever to gain others' love are often the ones who need it the most.

(Or, fifteen snapshots taken over the course of the life of friendship between Freddie Mercury and Elton John.)

    Summary

Fred gets a bad flu. John and Roger try to take care of him but are abysmal at best-- Roger burns soup and almost singes a cat and Deacy runs around with bedclothes tented over his head until Brian arrives to save the day.

(Or, it is late summer/early fall of 1982 and after the Hot Space tour in America Freddie gets incredibly sick. It is entirely possible this sickness was the original inception of his HIV/AIDS symptoms.)

    Includes some swearing.

Chapters 10 and 11 in particular include medical situations that could potentially be frightening or triggering to some readers. I will also be including some references to an abusive relationship and to drug use in later chapters, so please be warned and read responsibly.

    Summary

"The Midwest could get on your nerves because of the sheer repetition of everything and every town is so much like the others. And you did feel like you were in a cultural vacuum sometimes. All we had was bad televisions and vibrating beds --even worse-- and, ah, bad food. But it was still a lot of fun, haha. There was no sex and drugs and that... there wasn't really much sex--well, there wasn't much drugs." - Roger Taylor

(Or, while on the 1977 world tour for their album A Day At The Races, the members of Queen learn a few things of interest about the American Midwest. And about themselves.)

"If you walk the path, eventually you must arrive." - Neil Gaiman

There are a lot of happenings over the course of a lifetime. And in a life of miracles and of stars, of rock and roll and family, an astrophysicist muses often about the choices that he makes.

(Or, Brian May mulls over his life and the legacy of Queen.)
