2 Works in Jane Honeyfoot
04 Dec 2016
Jane Honeyfoot and Tom Levy are getting married. General discombobulation ensues - especially as Levy, who obviously wants dancing at his wedding breakfast, teaches willing students and staff how to perform the part of ladies in popular dances (actual ladies being in short supply at the school). Childermass proposes that he and Segundus should take dance lessons; soon another proposal follows, with some unexpected results.

John Segundus knew that some people were inclined to fall in love with others. He also knew that such a love might lead to a desire to kiss (and, indeed, a desire to do other, less-than-savoury things). Not any of this was a surprise to John; what was a surprise was that these any of these notions of love and kissing might apply to him.
