    Summary

A cold moon glittered over the swirling spires at the cities' heart. There were castles, meeting houses, libraries, plenty of things that were made to shine with there own luminescence. Here the buildings were lit by fairy lights and candles. Nothing shined on the dull stone and wood.
It was going to be a late spring. Probably some argument or another had given winter the edge this year. The tower of the Winter Court spiraled up like a spout of water from a fountain frozen in place somewhere off in the distance, radiating a chill through the air.
It was cool in here with the window open, but she didn't mind. The others often joked that she was hot blooded. Witches were often thought to not be fully human, and while most evidence pointed to the contrary, she wondered if there was a little bit of truth in that.
Kailyn pulled the light shawl around her shoulders tighter. Not because of the cold, but because the fabric felt nice. It was grounding. It was a reminder that she was here. Her soul wasn’t out wandering the back alleys, buildings, or even forest beyond. It was home.
That was only a small comfort though. Because while she hadn't seen it, she knew it was out there.

    The banshee was out tonight.

If there was one crime Madara was willing to confess too, it was falling in love with Natsume Takashi. Stupid boy would be the death of him, enrolling to become an Exorcist at True Cross Academy so that he could help spirits and demons get along with humans.

    Foolish boy.

Madara was a magnificent bodyguard though, so he very well couldn't leave Takashi, especially after he went ahead and befriended the Blue Flame Brat, against Madara's explicit instructions not too.

A series of vignettes during Deirdre and Naoise's years on the run in Scotland. Summary

A retelling of how Deirdre and Naoise met; the daughter of the court storyteller of the king of Ulster, Deirdre was born under the prophecy that she would be the fairest in all Ireland, but kings and lords would go to war over her and the kingdom of Ulster would collapse. Ignoring the protests of his warriors to kill the baby, king Conchobhar of Ulster was intrigued by the description of her future beauty and wanted to be humane; he decreed that the girl would be raised in seclusion only among women and he would marry her when she reached marriageable age and avert disaster.

Things did not go according to plan. Deirdre, a young woman repulsed by the aging king, had seen in a vision a handsome young warrior with raven-black hair, snow-white skin, and blood-red cheeks. She knew that this youth would be her true love. Her foster-mother and teacher, Leabharcham, said that this description matched Naoise, son of Uisneach. He was one of the finest, most fearless of Conchobhar's warriors and hunters, and an accomplished singer. Naoise and his two fiercely-loyal brothers were the finest warriors in Ireland.

English translation provided after the original Gaelic.

    Summary

Once upon a time, an Elven prince rescued a mortal healer from a pack of wolves in human skin. He was gravely wounded, and for three moons she tended him faithfully before he sent her back to her life in the mortal realm.

But he remembered her, and a second night of danger dragged her further into his world.

Lonely after her ordeal in the New York subway, Dylan Myers finds solace in the nightly visits from Prince Nuada Silverlance. Each night, he comes to her cottage on the edge of Central Park and they share food and stories. During those hours of simple, tenuous friendship, it is easy to forget the darkness beyond the walls of the cottage.

Then one of Nuada's enemies lays a vicious trap that results in the prince being slandered and condemned a criminal by his father, the king of Bethmoora...a trap that sends Dylan rushing to Faerie to stand at Nuada's side.

A mortal has never stood beside Prince Nuada...until now. And Dylan's choice will thrust her and Nuada both further toward the destiny that will change the fate of both species.

    Summary

A dramatic monologue of sorts (in Scottish Gaelic) that addresses Deirdre directly and tells her tragic story.

The daughter of the court storyteller of King Conchobhar of Ulster, Deirdre was only a newborn when the druid Cathbad foretold her destiny; she would grow up to be the fairest in all Ireland, but kings and lords would go to war over her, much blood would be spilled over her, and Ulster's three finest warriors would be forced into exile and die for her sake.
The Red Branch Warriors, Conchobhar's armed forces, demanded that the baby be killed to avert this dreadful prophesy. But Conchobhar, wanting to be humane and intrigued by the descriptions of Deirdre's future beauty, ordered that the girl would be raised in isolation, only around other women, and when she reached marriageable age he would marry her.
Things did not go according to his plans. Deirdre, a beautiful but lonely young woman, fell in love with Conchobhar's nephew, Naoise, a handsome young man who was already Ulster's finest warrior and hunter, and an accomplished singer.

    Summary

It was King Kylo’s season, and he had been born to rule it. Blood of the Tuatha de Danaan ran in his veins, yes, but in addition to the most glorious of the sidhe, the darkest of the Unseelie. He had been born to break the wheel and rebuild it anew, to rid the world of the systems and order that stifled it and bring the Unseelie back to power so that they could set the fae free once more.

And he would be enjoying his victory -- the death of his twisted, decrepit master, his rightful place in the universe secured, the triumph of the Unseelie over the Seelie -- but for an impudent nocker, a tinkerer, a little no-one who had worked her way into his very soul.

In which King Kylo of the Winter Court and Rey of the Summer Court struggle with the past, themselves, and their ferbidden Seelie/Unseelie luuuuuurve.
