Tubbo was going to fucking murder Wilbur Soot.
He didn’t care if that asshole only had one life, it was WIlbur’s insane plan that nearly got him killed and that did get his husband killed.
Tubbo knew that Wilbur couldn’t be trusted. He had trusted him before, back in Pogtopia. Trusting Wilbur to save him was why he now had the scar on his face.
He had trusted Wilbur to not make the same mistake with Ranboo. Trusted Ranboo would get out of there before it was too late for him.
He wouldn’t let Wilbur get the chance to make that mistake again.

Summary
Rather than offering Wilbur the vice presidency, Quackity offers a much more prestigious position: First Gentleman of Las Nevadas. Quackity wants to make his fiancés jealous, and in exchange Wilbur has his ear at all times. Comedy ensues as the two rivals struggle to keep up the ruse against skeptical employees and their own clashing egos.

His limbo had been cold and dark; no sound, no light, nothing. He’d learned that speaking was useless there.
He cried for weeks after- sometimes Ranboo wasn’t sure he’d ever stopped crying. Ranboo didn’t cry. They didn’t speak either. They just smiled.
There wasn’t anything to cry about, was there? They were revived!They were free.
And the best part?
They remembered everything.

“You don’t want it? You don’t want anything I have to offer?”
Wilbur’s voice is full of disbelief and he’s sitting up now, but Quackity doesn’t move. He knows what comes next. Wilbur can claim to have changed all he wants, but Quackity knows him inside and out. He doesn’t want to, but he does.
Wilbur grabs him by the shoulders with a surprising amount of strength for someone who could barely stand up straight earlier. He pins him to the ground, fingers digging into his skin in a way that Quackity knows will leave bruises later. He secretly delights in the idea.
Wilbur has his heart in his hands, but Quackity knows him.
“You know how this goes, don’t you, Quackity? I won’t give up, I don’t give up. War, exile, death, none of that stopped me. Don’t you feel so lucky?”
There’s that smile again, all teeth and eyes sparkling with darkness. Quackity smiles back just as fierce.

Because Quackity was determined to leave their ‘foray’ behind, as he called it, and Wilbur needed this, even if he couldn’t explain exactly why. And he and Ranboo weren’t the only ones with similarities; he had seen how idleness and mania had clawed at Quackity’s demeanor, how eager he’d been for the competition between them. How he’d delighted in turning every slight and snark against him right around, just to shove it all back in Wilbur’s face. They were both alike in many ways, Wilbur found.
And he would prove to everyone Quackity needed this as much as he did.
or: Charlie's death happens before "hitting on 16," and Wilbur isn't quite ready for the change it makes in Quackity. Turns out they both have a hard time letting go.

Of fucking course Tubbo knew it was wishful thinking to even ponder at the idea that Quackity's horse would be safe and sound. Maybe in some shoddily built stable with a nice bundle of hay and a cold bucket of water.
Kept hostage by Wilbur just long enough for Quackity to start to lose his shit once he notices, only to laugh in the Mexican's face and hand the horse back with a warning afterward.
This is Wilbur we’re talking about, he’d be lucky if there was still a body to bring back.
I basically got really inspired to write something after finally watching the Burger Van Lore stuff

In that moment, it’s like nothing ever happened. They were just Ranboo and Tubbo. Tubbo and Ranboo. And that would always be enough.
