Per provare di essere un abile guerriero in un villaggio infestato dai draghi, Mark, ovvero lo Sfigato del villaggio, con la S maiuscola, prova a sconfiggere il drago più temuto di tutti: una Furia Buia!
Uccidere un drago risolverebbe immediatamente tutti i suoi problemi, stenderebbe le rughe di preoccupazione dal viso di suo padre e forse riuscirebbe anche a fargli avere un appuntamento con la sua cotta.
Ma invece di un drago morto, Mark trova un nuovo amico dalla forma di un grosso rettile nero, il cui comportamento fa nascere in lui delle domande riguardo tutte le cose in cui la gente del suo villaggio crede. E poi, improvvisamente, appare questo ragazzo sfrontato, ma carino, che non ha mai visto prima e che sembra un po’ troppo… non umano.

Summary
To prove himself as a worthy warrior in a village hunted down by Dragons, Mark, aka the resident Loser with a capital L, tries to take down the most feared Dragon of them all: A Night Fury!
Killing a Dragon would immediately fix all his problems, smooth down the worry lines on his father’s face, and maybe even score him a date with his crush.
But instead of a dead Dragon, Mark finds a new friend in the form of a big, black reptile, whose behaviour makes him question all the things his village people believe in. And then, there’s suddenly this snarky, yet cute boy he’s never seen before and who seems just a bit too… non-human.
The How To Train Your Dragon Markhyuck AU with a few twists I wrote purely for my own entertainment, because sure af no one asked for this.

Summary
Seven generations ago the founders of Berk arrived, excited as this land they found was perfect for settlement. Though the winter could be harsh and the weather tended to lean towards the cold than it did warm, the land had an open body of water that kept the earth fertile. There was plenty of forest with wildlife both on land and in the ocean. In all things considering, it was a perfect place for a village to thrive. The only downside would be the pests that constantly wreaked havoc and made it so that the villagers were always on their toes and rebuilding their homes; the dragons. Though luckily for the Berk (and unlucky for the beasts) the people were stubborn and well trained. It was their mission to stay on their claimed land and if that meant they had to kill every dragon that they laid eyes on, then so be it.
That was the plan, though Izuku Midoriya had a way of messing things up.
