Summary
Alec Lightwood, the prince of Alicante, choses his first official proclamation as the next king. His idea? To give some people who have been innocently sent to Edom a chance to live a normal life. He chooses Simon Lewis, Maia Roberts, Clary Fray and Magnus Bane. The four most sour downworlders on the island of Edom.
When Magnus finds out that he will be moving to Alicante, he is told by his father, Asmodeus the king of hell, that he will steal the stele crafted by Raziel to hell free all villains stuck in Edom. And of course, he and his friends agree. But when Magnus arrives in the kingdom, will he learn that his father doesn't define him? And that real love can prevail?
Will everyone from Edom all learn that? Or will they make their families mistakes become theirs?
