Inigo is captain of the Revenge, waging unofficial war on Humperdinck. When he learns that the prince seeks a mystical treasure to eliminate the Dread Pirate Roberts once and for all, he must find and dispose of the treasure, aided by a mysterious stranger from another world. This work is part of "Crossing Realms," my collection of crossovers amongst a wide variety of fandoms.
Author's Note: The amount of work I need to complete for school has increased sharply in recent days, making it really hard to get much writing time. Because I have seen relatively little interest in this storyline, I'm going to prioritize my other works over this one. I will continue to write this -- if nothing else, I like the story and want to see where it goes -- but I will not stick to my posting schedule for this as religiously as I have been. Sorry for the inconvenience, if you have been reading/enjoying it. Thanks to all of my readers!

This is basically the plot of Princess Bride but now Buttercup has a daughter, and the kid and his grandpa don't make an appearance because I couldn't figure out how to fit them in.

Who loves the Princess Bride movie? It’s fantastic. But when I picked up the book, I was thrown off by all of Goldman's fake footnotes (sometimes in the midst of paragraphs). I just wanted to read the story as it is with all my favorite characters and all my favorite scenes and then some.
So, out of love, I’ve went ahead and started rewriting the story. Into what it should have been, scene for scene in the hopes of finally getting it right. A little artistic liberty has been taken, of course, but overall I’m rather satisfied with this more bedtime story friendly version.
