It was like the air had been knocked straight out of his lungs- as corny as that fuckin’ sounded -because he couldn’t fuckin’ breathe as his eyes unconsciously took in the sight of the redhead before him. Shit, fuckin’ Christ, he was fuckin’ beautiful and suddenly, Mickey couldn’t quite make the connection between the voice that had spoken just mere moments before and the man standing in front of him, because how the fuck could something so beautiful sound so fuckin’ broken? The two things just didn’t add up in Mickey’s short-circuited brain.
