There was bright moonlight streaming into his room, although Eijun foggily remembered drawing the curtains before going to bed. Through his barely open lids, he spotted two pinks cats sitting by his bed and looking at him. Their fur was so shiny that it almost seemed like they had a shiny baseball glittering on their foreheads.
“He’ll probably awaken soon,” the one less fluffy with visible eyes said, while looking directly at Eijun.
The other with long fur covering most of its features cocked its head thoughtfully. “Let’s hope he’ll keep his innocence a bit longer.”
