Whichever the reason, Harper didn’t trust people like that. Harper was torn from the possibility of a normal life at an early age. When her father abandoned her mother, brother, and herself on her brother’s fifth birthday, he thought it smart to take Harper with him.

Douxie has been protecting Nari from the rest of the Arcane Order by masking her magical signature with a spell, thus making her impossible for them to track. What happens when his spell accidentally falters?
Basically, my take on rewriting the dumpster fire that was Rise of the Titans, but with the twist of being set a bit in the future.

The 9th configuration fails, Bellroc wins, the universe gets blown to bits and reset or is it? But before that happens Jim is forced to travel back in time to make things right. Later in his first day back in a very much not-destroyed Arcadia he bumps into his girlfriend before the reset and finds a very familiar amulet in her possession. Not just that, but the Arcane Order appears to be much more than they are. They maybe just as alien as they are ancient. A new threat is coming. The stakes are higher as the world Jim holds on his shoulder's grows bigger than ever as he threatens all the worlds.
But the question remains the same. Will Jim be able to save the Universe this time?
