Summary
Night had fallen on America as she gazed up at the stars that shone in the deep sky of darkness. The few leaves of the melancholy trees moved in the deadly dance of the Midnight Bell.
She nestled among the trees, Pennsylvania at her feet, and her eyes fixed on the celestial beauties. Her face and her dark tresses were illuminated by the silver light of that glowing star of mystery.
Her broken soul thought again, perhaps the thousandth time, of that love cut up like pieces of an impossible puzzle. Of course, her mind was haunted, but the white dove of longevity and eternity had lost her fight against the demonic minotaur with its deadly and poisonous poison.
She remembered all the times she had imagined herself running away from the demons of the past, becoming pirates in the darkness in distant lands, dolls wrapped in a royal jumper or birds with wounded wings flying to mystical India rich in stories.
As her eyelids froze towards the vast horizon, she began to whisper as softly as a goodbye kiss.
"I love you to the Moon and to Saturn."
