Jean received a threat from the Abyss Order insisting that she comes alone in facing them. And for some reason, she's tangled with Diluc in resolving it. Both of them doing what they can, for Mondstadt.
And when rumors spread that she's in a relationship with Diluc right after, she tried to find a way to clear it up.
The mere thought of considering a relationship with her former captain is ridiculous, that's what she likes to say. As someone who represents the Knights of Favonius, the one thing that Diluc despises the most, she definitely don't have a chance. But why does the thought bother her?
The never idle knight may or may not have feelings for her former superior. She knew her feelings are not to be reciprocated.
However, that might not be the case. Because when a certain harbinger was roaming around Mondstadt, Diluc's buttons were pushed upon seeing that the fatui scum established a somehow good relationship with the Dandelion Knight.

So you can imagine his surprise when he gets shot in the back. Twice.
And then the next night, some strange dude creeps into his hospital room to hide from large men sulking around in the dark
So like any reasonable person, Kaeya decides to ignore the police telling him to stay puts and looks for answers. Who has he made enemies out of? Who wants him dead? I suppose we’ll have to discover that together.

many assumed the eighth archon was dead, killed in the great cataclysm. but a legend remained, of the lost archon, who might have escaped their would-be murderers and hidden in a human form in teyvat, away from prying eyes.
now, with the fatui on the hunt for gnoses, it's only a matter of time before the supposedly lost archon is found again.

A love potion, of all things, was something he wanted to test out. And his guinea pig was none other than Kaeya Alberich. Yet, when the potion is expected to wear off in an hour, the captain is still in...love?
