And thats exactly what the main factions left in the world are doing. They're trying to make the world livable again for the general population and not just the people who are known to be good survivalists like them. But instead of making it better, they're making it worse. No one is getting along and have their knives at each other's throats every day. On top of that, there is a very contagious virus going around - Angevin-Saxe - that could kill them at any moment.
Sacrifices are made, and at what cost?
(Short note before I get corrected in the story: this is an au and I am not basing the ages off of the ages irl. They may be somewhat similar but for some of their ages it just doesn't seem to fit.)

Impulse is a Dragon Hybrid who lives at the top of Tehitcrafrm Mountain Range. He has made his treasure hoard in the tallest part of the range where it passes the clouds. He knows he is not alone on the mountain range. He just doesn't know who or where they are and he is fine with keeping it this way.

The rain poured down outside Zedaph’s lab, a constant, quiet rhythm that helped to focus his mind. If he listened particularly hard he could hear waves crashing against rocks, he could hear the howling wind, he could hear tree branches bending. His favourite moments were when the sky lit up and he heard a rumble of thunder, slowly growing in volume as the centre of the storm moved closer to his lab. The approaching crescendo gave him something to ground himself as his body shifted.

Scar swallowed the lump in his throat as he looked at his friend. The 3rd Life, now Last Life, werewolf. “I understand. I just wanted to-”
“Yeah, I appreciate it.” Joel shrugged. “But there’s nothing I can do. I’m staying down here, in my cave, where I can close off the entrance and the moon can’t get me.”

Joel is a werewolf, of some sort. This doesn't stop Scar from becoming his ally. And it makes it so much harder to push him away.
