Kakashi tenses beside him, but covers it up well. "Hypothetically, " he rolled his eye. "I don't think I'd have much choice in the matter." His gaze drifts over to Leo who tilts his head to meet his. "I didn't expect such a strong endorsement from you of all people."
"Yeah, well… consider me charmed I guess." He leans his head back and closes his eyes, intent to settle into a mutual silence.

When the older shinobi gave no response, Haru exhaled shakenly and grabbed ahold of the jounin’s bigger hand and brought it to his chest.
“Sensei, I’m alive. Hear my heart beating? That means I’m alive sensei” He hated when the jounin got like this. It was unnerving when the silver-haired would stay quiet when it was not comfortable. Thinking what else he could do, Haru reached into his sizeable reserves, and brought forth chakra into his hands, and channeled it to the bigger hand, “Can you feel my chakra? I’m not dead just yet Kakashi-sensei”.
