They've been apprenticed to Jancy for over four months now—not counting whatever space-time shenanigans happened on the Celestial Spear—and have probably spent at least sixty percent of that learning to be detectives. Asking lots and lots of questions until stumbling into the right ones. Paying close attention to the environment because anything could be a clue. Eventually putting the pieces together (and, okay, sure, sometimes taking them apart again because they didn't exactly fit the first time around.)
All of which is a long way of saying that it makes no sense Jancy would think they haven't noticed what's been going on with her and Dahlia.
