After the incident, Mob’s parents are convinced that he is a changeling child. that’s how they explain what happened with the bullies. They should’ve realized earlier with the psychic powers, in hindsight everything makes sense. They decide to leave their eldest son in the woods, to give him back to the faeries, with Ritsu to look after they don’t need his big all-seeing eyes and monstrous powers. Things will be better, they probably won’t get their human child back, not this late. They’ve likely been raising this imposter for a decade. Mrs. Kageyama wasn’t sure exactly why the fae took human children. There were stories the best she could hope was that he was being raised by a loving family in the faerie world. But this changeling, it was clear he could not survive in the human one. So he was left in the woods, he would be better of with his own kind

His bright pink laces twisted violently around a set of jet black shoes that hovered just above the concrete. Raven hair danced in an impossible wind, whipping around his startlingly red eyes. A bright pink band wrapped delicately around his limp wrist, letting out a single monotonous note. Its tiny, cracked screen held three numbers and a percentage sign:

Teruki turns around to address the delinquents, “You all should get out of here. I’ll handle him.” He then turns his attention back to Kageyama, sighing.
“What are you gonna do?” Dimple asks him, looking at him curiously.
“It’d probably be best if I brought him somewhere safe. His injuries don’t look very good.” Teru says, eyeing all of the visible bruises covering Kageyama.

Reigen had fucked up. He was broke, a criminal organisation was after him and he's stuck with a cryptid of a psychic murderer who thinks bowl-cuts are still in fashion.
They'll put this on his gravestone: Reigen Arataka, conman, died because he listened to some telepathy kids' stupid ghost story.
Or an AU where ???% did a whole lot worse when it first came out, and Mob ends up a criminal/vigilante. Also includes drawings and such.

There’s an emotion that flickers in Dimple’s eyes but before Arataka can recognize it, it’s gone. Gone is the mischievous fry stealing Dimple, replaced by a more...somber version of the spirit. Arataka doesn’t like the feeling he gets from that look.
“Dimple...what did you see when you went in there?” He questions, fearing the answer.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku, is a part of this small group of people without any abilities. Regardless of if he has any special powers or not, he still wants to become a hero.
Kageyama Shigeo, is a psychic, born with gifted abilities.
By all means, it’s unlikely that these two would be friends. They’re from two different worlds, and many would not associate themselves with people who are different from them. However, Shigeo is not like most people, and neither is Izuku.

Reigen sure as hell didn't think he was ready to dive headfirst into parenthood. But with Mob's orphanage closing, it was either time for him to step up his game, or let Mob be taken out of his life. Maybe for good. So in the end, it was a pretty easy decision after all.
