When Tommy goes to sleep he dreams of wars and death. He dreams of his brother dying, of him being stuck in exile, and dying all alone in a prison. It isn't real, he knows that. So why is he suddenly filled with these fears that he didn't have before. Tommy doesn't know and he wishes he did.
Tommy wants nothing more for his life to go back to normal. To not have these dreams. But that isn't happening anytime soon so he just soldiers on. If he is flinching more now or if he's more tired lately then that's nobody's business but his own.
But it'd be great if at least one person would notice.
or; when Tommy sleeps he dreams of an alternative reality it used to only affect him mentally, leaving horrors in his mind. But when things begin to get more dangerous, what the hell is Tommy supposed to do? Well he ignores it and just chooses to focus on the upcoming Homecoming dance.
