My name is Dejah Thoris. Once I was Princess of Helium and Consort of John Carter, the Warlord of Barsoom. Abandoned by my husband, but fearing him kidnapped or worse, I raised my arms to the blue planet in the night sky and followed him across the depths of space and time.
He and I arrived, separately, on an unnamed planet; I soon determined this this was not John Carter’s home world, known as Dirt. The land known as Westeros and its people resembled those of Dirt, and had spent years locked in a political and military struggle known as the game of thrones. I met a woman who became my sister and my lover, and we became adopted daughters of a noble family known as House Mormont.
Transit through space and time left me with heightened physical abilities, much as John Carter had acquired upon Barsoom. In defense of my new family I killed an ancient evil being known as the Night’s King, as well as two fire-breathing dragons and the beautiful but insane princess who controlled them – and had married my husband, John Carter.
I fought John Carter, who left me for dead, my life saved when my mistress Beth Cassel defeated him in single combat. Now he seeks to kill us both.

My name is Dejah Thoris. This place was not always my home.
Once, I was Princess of Helium, Regent of the Royal Academy of Sciences, and Consort Royal of John Carter, Jeddak of Jeddaks, the Warlord of Barsoom. After John Carter’s disappearance from our planet, I lifted my arms toward his home world and instead ended up here, a land known as Westeros and riven by the political and social conflict cynically known as the game of thrones.
Like John Carter, my transit through the depths of space left me stronger and faster than I had been before. Initially seeking my husband, I found a woman who became my sister and later my lover. Realizing that I had been abandoned by John Carter, I in turn abandoned my search for him and became an adopted daughter of a noble family known as House Mormont.
To defend my new home, I first slew the evil being known as the Night’s King and later killed a murderously insane princess and her two fire-breathing dragons. I came to love my sisters, and I lost interest in returning to John Carter.
Soon he would return to me, with death in his eyes.
Now Complete. Note: You may want to read Parts One and Two first.
