Quackity let go of him and returned towards his desk, without looking back.
The guards started to escort them out. As they entered the elevator one more time, Sapnap gave one last glance towards Quackity, who was gripping his necklace with the jingling rings. Sad eyes stared back at him.

He cautiously opens his eyes, waiting again for the achingly gleaming light, but instead he finds out that it dimmed. As it keeps on gradually dimming, he catches Karl with his gaze.
Just as he was about to walk over to him, a sudden wave of dizziness consumed him. Swirls of colors flood his vision. He can still see Karl in the distance, but the crashing feeling restrains him. He can´t move. He feels a lump form in his throat. He tries to scream, but nothing comes out. The bright colors still swim on his view. It´s all coming down on him.

“Hello, can you fuck off you prick? I’m not in the mood to deal with this shit right now.” he hissed at it, his eyes narrowed as he felt nothing even remotely close to fear, if this was a hallucination or not, he didn’t care, he’s too tired. The hallucination, admittedly, looked quite surprised at his reaction for a hallucination. It disappeared abruptly.
Tommy huffed. Good on that thing, hallucination, or ghost, or whatever. Knows not to fuck with the big man when he’s in a pissy mood. Very healthy decision to disappear at his reaction, he thinks.
He stands there for a moment, realizing if that was a hallucination he just talked to it, and therefore he’d need to work on that if it ever came back.

Summary
There are four lands that are kept in check by the middle. Its separated regions earned it the name clover, as each area (North, East, South, West, and Middle) made the shape of a four leaf clover. All the main characters are introduced in the prologue but more will gradually show up as the story progresses. The story diverges from the canonical plot line but many aspects stay relatively close to it.
Peace is hard to come by and every region is constantly scheming on one another, trying to overtake the others for personal reasons or for the self-proclaimed ‘greater good.’ Conflict erupts between them in little ways and in large ways, forcing many to separate, team up, and fall apart.
The story takes place mainly in the perspective of Southern Las Nevadas featuring the characters: Charlie (Slimecicle), Purpled, Fundy, Foolish, and Quackity as their boss. Quackity wants to get back at Dream for forcing him and Sapnap and Karl apart. But he struggles to put his revenge over his newly recruited comrades.
What’s more important? Protecting your past or protecting your future?
