Derek Hale ne pensait pas qu'un jour sa vie partirait littéralement en fumée, consumée dans les flammes de l'enfer qui avaient emportées avec elles sa maison et sa famille. Les forces occultes s'étaient réveillées sur la ville de Beacon Hills et s'en étaient prit à lui entre tout autres de par sa nature lycanthrope, et ce fût la raison pour laquelle le loup garou décida de mener la guerre face à toutes les manifestations qui prendraient forme dans sa ville à partir de ce jour. Mais alors qu'il pensait se retrouver complètement seul dans son combat, une nouvelle aide apparaîtra de nulle pars pour l'assister dans sa quête, celle d'un jeune homme se faisant appeler "Émissaire".
(Le récit prend place ans l'Univers de Teen Wolf, mais il s'agît d'une réalité différente de celle que l'on connaît dans la série.)

(This is a rewrite of More than Human (the original story will still be continuing) with new ideas that I have thought up in regards to how the story should develop in a different direction. Some characters have also been changed or removed from my previous story, whilst certain chapters have only needed minor alterations, whilst others have been completely rewritten. Hope you enjoy this different version.)

Ten months after the events of Dioscuri and the Battle of Washington D.C., Stiles and Scott have come to terms with what happened to both of them. As the new leader of Hydra's Department of Occult Armaments, Stiles, now calling himself Fox, must deal with the threat of the Avenger's War Against Hydra, the internal politics of the DOA, other enemies, and the nagging feeling that he's going in the wrong direction. On the other hand, Scott is trying to go to school, trying to lead a pack, trying to be a good friend and son, while ignoring the emotional wound of being unable to save Stiles.
Events will soon move them bring them back into each other's worlds.

“Are you okay?” Derek’s eyes scan his face, and Stiles wants to scream.
“No, I’m not okay,” he snaps, and then instantly wishes he could take it back, but Derek barely reacts.
“Did he hurt you?” he rephrases, and honestly Stiles has no idea. He can’t feel anything, but he shakes his head against the cabinet, trying to get his fucking lungs to work. Derek pulls away, removing his hands from Stiles’ body to take stock of the situation. His eyes flit around the kitchen, the blood on the floor, Stiles in the middle of it. His face is grim.
