The older brother who was the scientist love his younger brother very much that he would find a cure no matter what happens to him. He would find the cure for his brother.
The younger, having accepted his faith embrace his time living before he dies. One was having none of it.
Before the younger one knew, his brother had become unlikely different.
He became a murderer.

The Philosopher had many forms, though his favorite was simple. Small and armored. Easily underestimated, easier to hide, faster— practical. It was not too uncommon to see a small, blanched form with a touch of forest green scampering through the underworld at impressive speed. Ah, they would utter, fanged, toothy mouths slightly agape. Not everyone got to see The Philosopher, after all. He is on the move once more, someone else would say.
And he would smile a wide, toothy grin, The Philosopher would. His hearing was sharp, as were the rest of his senses. Though he was peculiar, this Philosopher. He would admit it himself on many occasions.
There were many tales of woe from demons who did not recognize their place quick enough, and The Philosopher was quick to remind them.
