It's been, like, a week since I watched Ford v Ferrari (Le Mans 66) and man I can't think about much else other than how it was straight up a romance movie starring Matt Damon and Christian Bale but they weren't allowed to kiss :(((
This is a fix-it of sorts, where Ken and Carroll go into business together, establishing Miles-Shelby (don't ask me where they get the money from) and over the next racing season lose their ability to talk to one another.
Expect a lot of pining, and moments where I could have made them kiss but didn't, because I'm a masochist. At least now you know what you're in for :)

“You act like this on purpose don’t you,” Shelby grits out tossing the door open and shoving Ken inside. “To give them all a reason to be scared of you, treat you like a dog, and not the puppy we both know you are,” Carroll sits back down on the edge of the worn out mattress that came with the trailer, pulling the driver down with him. Ken growls as he settles on the other man’s lap until Shelby shushes him, running his palms up the other man’s thighs.“
