Consider this my love letter to FFVI, a novelization of the game filtered through a Locke/Celes perspective. Starting with that fateful meeting in South Figaro and continuing through the entire story to the end of the game (and possibly a little after - TBD). View this as an adaptation, with story and setting elements changed for cohesion, clarity, or just generally so it works better. All the big moments are there; I've just moved some of the pieces around a little so they make more sense in prose form, and I have taken some liberties with the story. More liberties as it continues, whoops. But it should still be familiar.
Alternating POVs between Celes and Locke, but other characters and other relationships are important, too.
The chapters are getting longer, and my life is getting busier, so updates are roughly once a month! But I'm doing my best to keep pushing through. This is NOT a dead fic!
