Summary
After receiving an assignment to write about a remote mountaintop village, travel magazine reporter Xiao Xingchen arrives in Zhinan only to find that his host is dead and the weekly cable car has stranded him. Fortunately, the peculiar residents of the nearby monastery, Wen Ning and Song Zichen, are more than willing to host him for a week while he works on his article.
