Shota Aizawa had sworn off dating for years. It's not that he despises what romance has to offer- he just didn't have the time to fall in love. He had his Pro Hero work, he had his teaching duties, he was the stand-in parental figure to 21 children (1-A as well as Shinso), he had to be the adoptive father to an actual child who was the personification of light and innocence- in short, he led a very stressful life. He didn't have time for himself aside from a few hours to sleep, shower, and eat. So when you fell right into his lap, all helpful and sweet- able to wash his worries away, he didn't know whether or not to view you as a blessing or a curse. Why did you make his heart beat so quickly? It's been years since he graduated from high school so why did you make him feel like a hormonal teenager again? Why did seeing you with Eri, looking all domestic, have him melting like a popsicle in summer heat?!

Or, a story in which Katsuki realizes that he fucked up. But it all turns out for the better. Through a lot of trial and error.
There will be smut, probably more than there should be, and a lot of secondhand embarrassment that is a little funny at least.
