“Okay but listen, if we plan it really well--”
“We are not convincing Junior’s mom he’s been kidnapped,” Pran says firmly. He’s been entertaining his boyfriend’s petty ideas for the better part of an hour but this one is a tad too far. He really should’ve started putting his foot down around the point Pat suggested they tell her Junior’s been scouted by a kpop agency and can’t return to Bangkok.
To his credit, Pat does seem a little sheepish when Pran turns around to glare. They’re working in the kitchen today, cutting up vegetables so Uncle Tong can prepare a farewell dinner for Junior and his mom. Sadly for Pran, it’s mechanical work, leaving them (read: Pat’s fanciful imagination) free to scheme.
“Fine. Let’s revisit the hallucination idea.”
“Enough,” Pran groans.

Pat’s words echo in his ears hours after he’d said it. It’s probably the only thing that echoes in his head now, laying beside Pran in his boyfriend’s apartment. Pran has his arms wrapped around him in a grip that told him he wasn’t leaving anytime soon. And he wouldn’t - not that he was planning to anyways.
