Summary
Based on the Ecce Romani Textbooks! This is the story of Davus's life from his early days as a slave still dreaming of freedom, through love and the various dramas of the farm, finishing with his final appointment as the farm's Overseer. Rated T for hints of violence and sexuality. No Latin necessary!
This fic was written in 2012, I'm just uploading it to archive it before Fanfiction.net dies. It is technically unfinished, but each chapter should stand alone decently well.

Summary
We all know and love our favorite ancient roman family unit. But what if they were alive today and living in an average upper class suburbia? Can you get a car stuck in a ditch as well as a carriage? Would Flavia and Cornelia's love be accepted in modern times? What would Sextus do with modern technology? Hop in the raeda and let's watch this train wreck.

Summary
A complete re-write of Ecce Romani from Cornelia’s perspective - and including themes of feminism, Sextus being a pest, and the romance between Cornelia and Flavia we all know exists.
Title translates to “So keenly does she search for what she knows, and is her own.” <- Words by Lucretius

Summary
Rome is life in a hurry, but the countryside was life at its most beautiful. The countryside was slow in the same way that life is precious. It was all writing under trees to seek refuge from the summer heat, taking leisurely walks in the dirt paths between the tangle of garden flowers, and watching the rush of the river just below our tunics while wading in the water. Oh, Flavia, how the countryside was you. My fondest memories of the countryside are always tinged with your name. Perhaps it isn’t the countryside that I miss, but you.

Summary
Based on the Ecce Romani Textbooks! Ever since childhood, Flavia and Cornelia shared a deep, unspoken bond punctuated by longings, stories, and, in the most special of moments, stolen kisses. Femslash. Rated T for brief nudity and sensuality.

A largely pointless drabble I wrote a long time ago about the characters in my Latin textbook - in Latin. Translation included.
