Summary
Wilbur Soot, a boy from a small town with magic capabilities, is recruited by the Crown, along with Sir Carson King and a demon named Schlatt, to stop the rebel leader Technoblade--who is claiming to be the illegitimate son of the last king, King Nathan--from overthrowing the king of the kingdom of Cypress, Jordan Sparklez. Along the way, he is introduced to King Jordan's right-hand man, the dastardly Vice Taylor Antvenom, who is suspected of conspiring to assassinate the king, as well as a knight, Phil Watson, and his squire, Tommy Innit, who quickly become friends with Wilbur, even though they are secretly rebel sympathizers.
Meanwhile, due to his 'useless' slime magic, Charlie is disowned from his family of evil sorcerers and forced to go on the run. Along the way, he meets Noah Greypoint, a mercenary, and the Misfits, a band of rogues, and though starts off at odds with the Misfits, is forced to work with them when a masked villain named Dream kidnaps Charlie's closest ally and cousin.
And under the sea, Prince Cooper of the Ocean Kingdoms flees his overprotective grandfather onto the mainland, where he gains a new family and discovers the truth about his grandfather's terrible history... -

Without another thought, Tubbo brings the flint and steel together, letting little firefly sparks shower down upon the wood. They smolder for a moment, before catching into flames. Tubbo watches, unblinking, as the fire engulfs the ancient wood, turning it to ash.
Something twinges inside his chest. What was he doing? Was this really what he’d come to? An eye for an eye?

Wilbur shot to his feet, jerking around to find Tommy with a shellshocked expression on his face. Wilbur recognized the terror swimming in Tommy’s eyes, he still didn’t completely register what had happened.
But he had died.
Tommy was dead.
And Wilbur felt everything inside him shatter as his brother choked out a dry sob.
“I lost.” He breathed, “I lost for good this time.”

Summary
Shapeshifting isn't allowed on the Dream SMP server- the shifters themselves are more than welcome, but they aren't welcome to shift. This wouldn't be so terrible, if there wasn't so much going on at all times, from countries rising and falling to wars over music discs. Still, the shifters manage as well as they can.
That is, until a snowball starting with Philza joining the server and ending in a prison begins to roll. Tommy is exiled, and he gets sick- too sick. It doesn't take long to realize that there was something fishy going on- or, more aptly put, something furry.
Maybe the lone human of Philza's family isn't so human after all.
