Summary
I began this story as I saw the first pictures of Benedict Cumberbatch in Nepal. An origin story mixing things from the comics ( Mostly 'Essential Dr Strange1') and things from the film. I never managed to finish it and then 'Infinity War' happened...and I had to fix it.
I have taken a lot from http://marvelcinematicuniverse.wikia.com/wiki/Doctor_Strange too.
And a bit from: http://marvel.com/universe/Doctor_Strange_(Stephen_Strange)#axzz5EhmWlCHM
But I have altered a lot too. I do not follow the canon in Marvel's Doctor Strange universe. Who or what Vishanti and Agamotto...and Eternity are. I have altered that.
And the time-line in my story is different too. Infinity War happens much later, compared to the film.....and in order to make a lot of things plausible, let's just imagine that Stephen Strange is a lot older than he seems and all the things including Thor and Loki happens several years after Dormammu's attack in Hong Kong.
And this is a WIP. But most of it is written. I just have to connect the scenes.
I am not English and my first language is not English...so please forgive me my mistakes. And I do not own the characters.

Stephen Strange came to Kamar-Taj to repair his hands and return to his old life as a world renowned surgeon. Hayden Jones came to Kamar-Taj to escape her past and the abuse she faced for simply being as she was; a mutant.
When these two radically different individuals meet, an unlikely friendship is formed. But as feelings deepen and Kaecilius threatens everything Kamar-Taj stands for, Hayden Jones and Stephen Strange must stand even more firmly together to defeat Kaecilius and save the world.
Author's Note: Hey everyone! This is gonna be a four or five part story following the events of Doctor Strange. Think of it as a warm up story as I get back into the swing of writing and uploading full length stories. I'll be updating this twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays.

Tony gets on Stephen's nerves almost instantly. Stephen didn't plan on meeting someone that is his match in almost every way. Tony's impressed by the Cloak: he wonders if Stephen is impressed by his armor. Tony shows off by rescuing Stephen's friends with the help of the Iron Legion.

She is a tough, sassy, brutally blunt and sarcastic teen with a furious independence streak in her, she hates having guys come to her rescue when a strong right hook or a swift kick can easily put down anyone who messes with her.
But when HYDRA is out to get her and has her mutant protector locked away in the Raft, in order to leave her defenseless, Sophia is force to go on the run while trying to get use to the mutant powers that her protector had transfer into her.
