Izuku meekly nodded his head… after all, what else could he do? He wasn't about to argue with a Pokemon that could easily punch him into next month, possibly the next decade or even century if he wanted to, despite Toshi's soothing demeanor.
It had been a hard couple of months this last year at the Musutafu Police Station, the green haired detective's work piling up. Crime rates have been on the rise since the unexplainable and shocking disappearance 5 years ago of the number 1 Pokemon Master and Hero, commonly referred to as All Might. A few other Pokemon Masters have vanished as well since then, making things even harder on the once Pokemon-obsessed Izuku.
When things seemed like it couldn't get even more lousy, a duo of Pokemon come charging into his life, bringing forth an adventure he never thought he could have. Guess it didn't matter what age you were, a Pokemon adventure could happen at anytime, whether Izuku liked it or not.

"Ghosts and dragons aren't real. Now, ghost dragons? Ghost dragons are real. I'm a ghost dragon-"
"Mucchan… your Quirk doesn't count. No, she's just a monster that's ghost-like with a dragon Quirk."
Hisashi knew from the moment that Izuku was born, his son would be Quirkless. Damn positive correlations… the data on that second joint in pinkie toes was beyond ridiculous, but science never lied. He knew that from years of experience. Things were missing, sure, but the things presented were all gathered facts.
And not only did the data show it, but common sense made it clear: a world with superpowers left and right, the Quirkless were always in severe danger. Even the pettiest, weakest of thugs could easily kill a Quirkless victim.
So how would Hisashi make sure to keep his Quirkless son safe? It was simple really…
Just make him a companion.
A necromancer Quirk was very helpful, wasn't it?
