Summary
Dean Winchester has been a demon for eight years. One day, he gets a visit from an angel.
———
“Hello, Dean.”
Dean turns around from his beer. A dark-haired man stares at him, hazel eyes containing the wisdom of a million years.
“Feathers,” he greets, turning back to his drink and taking a swig. Then he sighs in disgust. This isn’t working, he doesn’t feel anything more than a buzz.
The angel takes the empty seat next to Dean and watches him expectantly.
Dean sighs. “What?” He demands, pushing his beer towards the eons-old angel.
He just stares at the half-empty bottle, then focuses back on Dean. Dean shifts under the scrutiny.
“What’s your name?” He asks with a sigh, taking the bottle back in his hand. It’s cool to the touch, perspiration collecting on the sides of the fragile glass. If he squeezes his hand too hard, the bottle will probably shatter.
The angel hesitates, then says, “You can call me Castiel.”

Summary
“Yeah, yeah,” Dean muttered. He pulled out his wallet to give Sam the cash he had when something fell out and hit the floor.
Dean sucked in a breath, but Sam leaned down and grabbed it. “Dude, is this a--?”
Dean snatched the thing from his brother’s hand. “Shut up, Sam.” He clenched his jaw when Sam chuckled.
“Seriously, you have a--”
“I said shut up, Sam!” He jammed it back into his wallet.

Summary
Amara injured Castiel's grace and he's dying. He thinks the Winchesters won't care. Just how far will Dean go to prove him wrong?
“My grace has settled.” His voice sounds bitter to his own ears.
Dean winces, and he can practically feel the man draw away. From the way the veil drops over his open, inviting gaze to how his eyes now flit everywhere but to Castiel’s.
“You only did this to keep me alive Dean.”
“How do we know it even worked?” demands Dean, “You don’t even know for sure? Let’s just finish what we started.”
Almost amused, Castiel grins, “Well, seeing as I’ve had my grace for millions of years, I believe my opinion will do.”
“No! It – you – Jesus!” Dean hooks his ankles over Castiel and turns them so fast they almost tumble off the bed. Castiel realises what Dean wants… what he’s trying to do.
He wants this to continue as much as Castiel does. But he’s too scared to ask. Castiel can see the shame swirling in his eyes, filtering back into his brain like poison. Dean will destroy himself over this whether or not it happens.
He brings his lips to Dean’s once more shifting his hips so that the tips of their erections graze each other. “Let’s finish this Dean.” -

Summary
The plunge into darkness is sudden, but not concerning due to the bunker’s back up generators. The lack of complaint from Dean though is what gets him. His brother hadn’t even shouted out in complaint. Last he heard, Dean and Cass were watching some Western movie. Dean is always pissed when they have to pause… somehow, every part is ‘the good part.’ He truly pities Cass at this moment; Dean must be pitching a fit.
At first the outages had been but a minor inconvenience. Now, it’s maddening.
He’s been keeping a catalogue of the dates and times it’s been happening. But he could find no correlation. Sometimes it’d happen almost three times a day and others not even once. So, Sam had started analysing the reasons why this could be happening.
The bunker’s wiring was fine as far as he could tell – not like they could call in an electrician. Maybe he should ask Dean to check. His brother has always been better with this stuff.
Dean never seems to be around when this happens. In fact, it almost always happens when Dean and Cass have their movie nights.
It’s strange.
It’s almost as if the universe is conspiring against them.
What if…

Summary
You never realize how many lies you tell and secrets you keep until you can't do it any more. Dean unfortunately found this out with an honesty spell. Too bad he only has a little over a day to not only confess his feelings to Cas (since the stupid curse only activated because of his "longing for love" for the angel), but that "becoming one with your love" thing sounds straight out a freaking Disney movie. What's a hunter in deep denial about his feelings to do?
