Summary
Haurchefant loved chocobos. They were dead useful and steadfast in their loyalty if treated right. To see one so hurt after it rescued itself from the jaws of an aevis made his heart ache, and he would do anything to treat it right and train it to its upmost potential.
The chocobo in question had opinions about that.

Summary
The new count has been throwing his weight around Camp Dragonhead and micromanaging Haurchefant's doings to such an extent that the commander decides to rebel. Instead of disobeying Artoirel outright, he chooses the option favored by many who have unreasonable bosses: malicious compliance, although he adds a very Haurchefant flavor to his obedience to the count's thoughtless orders.

Summary
It wasn’t his finest of ideas, E’andhris had to admit. Bickering with the Senna siblings rarely was, despite his frustration with the famed Padjali passivity in matters of governance. “We must prevail upon the Elementals,” he muttered through chattering teeth, angrily echoing the words spoken to him before his abrupt departure. “We must beseech them for their aid. And if they say no, we’re to let people in need suffer right in front of us? Pfft.”

Summary
Isoldahlia is a reluctant Warrior of Light, but she does what she must to protect those dearest to her. She doesn’t have the time or the energy for love and romance, too busy making sure she survives to get home. So when her latest Scion assignment brings her face to face with the most beautiful man she’s ever seen, she is all too ready to believe the worst of him and his hidden agenda. It’s easier than dealing with inconvenient feelings.
This is a prequel to my existing fic, “Wavering Reflections”, meant to tell the story of how my Warrior of Light Isoldahlia met and fought tooth and nail against falling in love with the men who hold her heart. Rated for future explicit content.

Summary
Haurchefant had just decided to investigate when the front door suddenly slammed open. “My lord!” cried the knight in the doorway. “You must come at once! It’s the Warrior of Light!”
Haurchefant was on his feet immediately, a strange fear unlike any he’d ever felt churning in his gut. “What’s happened?”
