Summary
The second term has begun. Markus' biology course is over, and Connor has gotten a lot better at drawing people. They keep up the tutoring between Art Major and Science Major anyway, because what better (and more or less subtle) excuse is there to enjoy each other's exclusive company without having to own up to complicated feelings? Unfortunately for Connor, one cannot run from their gay thoughts forever... And that's pretty bad when you've been violently repressing them your whole life.
"Masseter.” He pointed at Markus’ mouth. “Buccinator, and orbicularis or-"
Connor faltered.
“What?” said Markus. Then, he grinned and teased: “No way. Did you actually forget what it’s called?”
“Of course not.” Connor shook his head and quickly got back on track. “Orbicularis oris.”
He felt the moment Markus tensed up when, presumably, he himself realized that they were sitting quite close to each other, that Connor had his hands on the sides of Markus’ face, that his thumb was very close to the corner of his mouth, and most damning of all, that Connor had hesitated just a second before.

Summary
The revolution had been a success. They were finally free... Or were they?
The aftermath of the revolution left Detroit desolate. Most of the residents had evacuated, save for the select few that were homeless, or too high on red ice, let alone function properly in any other society.
Although, aside from that, everything else seemed to be going smoothly. Despite having minor complications with coming to terms with his deviancy, Connor had managed to become an official officer of the DPD.
And Hank... Was still Hank.
The only problem is... How will they all react when they find out Markus has a mysterious person coming after him? He's in need of a bodyguard, but the only person he remotely trusts for that job...
Is Connor.

Summary
We all have scars, some physical and some mental, but everyone has had a permanent mark left on them by life.
Hank Anderson—Lieutenant Hank Anderson, that is—has been in this career long enough to see how the world will take the best and brightest of people and grind them down into dust. The DPD has had many of these bright faces pass through its halls, a never-ending cycle of hopes for a brighter future dashed by the realities of the present. If he could just save a couple of them, he thinks, that would be enough.
We all have scars. This is the story of how Gavin gets his. This is the story of how Connor begins to heal. This is the story of how, a decade apart, Hank parents two men who aren't (really) his sons.

Hank had moved closer, and his stress levels have increased since beginning speaking with Connor.
“Con?”
An analysis of his software brought attention to what he already knew. He’s frozen in time. There’s no stopping this.

Gavin looked up from his coffee, "You're joking…"
Tina smiled as she waggled the box of Uno cards, "C'mon, Connor and Hank already agreed to play."
The detective rolled his eyes, "fiiine…" he chugged back the last of his coffee, "but only so I can thrash Connor in a children's card game."

Summary
Jeff’s baton breezes through the air in a wide arc. The violinists are on point as if performing for a live audience. A sheen of sweat beads on the brawny violist’s upper lip like a dark, glittering mustache. The man looks too massive to handle such a delicate instrument, but his fingers find a way to dance across the strings without crushing them into silence. The basses reverberate, driving the depth and the passion of the piece closer to its climax.
They’re playing admirably, but it’s not enough to conceal the conspicuously muted cellists.
“Where’s Alfred?” Hank booms from the upper balcony. Jeff ignores him, and the musicians wisely follow his lead.
Hank glowers but keeps further interruptions to himself. He makes his way down to the conductor’s platform and crosses his arms over his broad chest. Jeff can feel Hank’s impatience, but he has more bluster than the city’s streets at night. The windbag can wait.

Summary
Connor had messed up. He didn’t deserve to be with Markus or part of the android liberation. He didn’t deserve to be a detective with the DPD. He could no longer work with Nines, or help Gavin who had hustled for fifteen years just to be replaced with a defective, dangerous killing machine.
He could no longer go back to Hank and Sumo either and that hurt the most.
After Connor returns from a traumatic experience he is plagued with nightmares. He can't tell why Amanda is back or what she wants. Connor tries to soldier through his problems and not worry his dad, boyfriend, or brother, but it won't be easy as his world begins to slowly crumble.
Sequel to Of Frogs and Butterflies but can be read on its own.

“You shouldn’t wear it around here. You’re making people nervous.”
Guilt, or what Connor thought was guilt, hit him like a train. Still, he said nothing, and didn’t look at North when she sat down beside him. In his peripheral, he could see the way she dangled her legs over the side of the roof just like he was, along with the large coat tucked in her arms. North was staring at him, studying him. It made him… anxious.
Or
Connor is struggling with both deviancy, his place in New Jericho and his ties to Cyberlife when North attempts to help him.

Summary
The line between human and android resembled a wall more than anything else. A wall that CyberLife had always been inventing new ways to break down for the sole purpose of making steps in science that most people dared not take. Finally, after years and years of hard work, money and time, they’ve succeeded.
With the open arms of a ringmaster at a circus, CyberLife introduces the world to their newest creations. Creations that are neither android nor human, but a forbidden hybrid of the two. Connor, dubbed RK800, and his brothers, Colin - RK800-60, and Conan - RK900, must accomplish their biggest mission yet; find the source of deviancy and eliminate it.
But is the world ready for a whole new type of androids, and the moral implications it brings with it?

Summary
Second year college student Markus chose a bio Minor. First year college student Connor chose an art Minor. Markus sucks at bio and Connor sucks at art- what a convenient (and in Connor's case, unfortunate) set-up to tutor each other! Somewhere along the way the flirty airheaded art aficionado and the cold stuck-up science nerd start getting closer, and so do their friends. The conclusion would be an easy one to reach for Markus' effortless charm... If only Connor wasn't trapped so irremediably deep in the closet.
"Buddies," echoed Connor flatly.
Markus brought a hand to his chest in fake hurt. "Is that not what we are?"
"I didn't get the memo, no."
"You wound me."
Connor didn't roll his eyes but he was very close. "I'm sure."
Markus grinned and stuck out a hand between them. "So do we have a deal?"

Summary
Connor thought he was satisfied with life. The rebellion was over and he was slowly adjusting to deviancy, he had a house, job and father figure he resided with. But the stress that comes with becoming human can truly take a toll on an Android, roughly a year old and he was born as a grown adult, he never had the gift of childhood, the most comforting and innocent times of a humans life he was depraved of. He was simply just created and thrown into the world. Sometimes when everything seems to just get too much, you just long for someone else to take control and care for you, so the stress of average life can’t engulf you.

What catches Connor's attention about the dating profile first is that Hank used to work at the DPD - they only just missed each other, actually - but what keeps him on Hank’s page is the bio that reads “idk im 53 and too old and tired for cutesy shit. hit me up if youre tired too.”
Connor is, indeed, very tired.
~~
After the revolution, Connor is working as an android representative. He finds himself being consistently scrutinized by the public, and he wonders if finding some way to humanize himself might help.
Pretending to date a human might help, and Hank seems like the perfect option.

Summary
This is how the longer cases go. They wind him up like a music box, until one day there’s a click and everything falls open and Connor can sing and sing and sing. And thrill with the singing. And come home with empirical proof of his worth as a human being.
The year is 1890. Connor Stern has been shipped off to newly incorporated Prescott, Arizona, to track down a renowned and evasive raider gang on behalf of local mining interests. His partner in the case is the completely incalcitrant County Sheriff, who’s far more likely at any one time to be finding his way to a bottle than a bandit. His target? Feared outlaw Markus, a man who’s growing increasingly eager to introduce Connor to the business end of a six-shooter gun.
But Connor’s in luck, because as it becomes evident to all three men that the solutions to their problems are fortuitously linked, Markus must consider the possibility that his headhunter might just have more potential to him as an ally than a corpse.
You catch more flies with honey, after all...
