Summary
Orpheus was a poor boy, who saw the world the way it could be in spite of the way that it is; and Eurydice was a young girl, but she’d seen how the world was.
Enjolras and Grantaire’s relationship has been on the rocks for years when they are cast as Orpheus and Eurydice in a production of Hadestown, put on by their old friend Eponine. Will the show bring them back together - or will it drive them further apart?

Summary
The events of the summer of 1842 turn Paris into the next diplomatic battleground, as Europe's most powerful states try to broker new alliances with fledgling ones (such as an Italy under unification). Enjolras, Eponine, Feuilly, Marius, and most of their large coterie find themselves in the midst of managing this firestorm of diplomats, intriguers, and fugitives all in one city. It seems simple enough, until a certain ex-innkeeper turned conman is released early from prison, and seeks to return to the Enjolras-Thenardier family, regardless of the cost.

Summary
They’ve been driving for what feels like a million years and the tape deck in Bahorel’s beat up pick up is fucked up so there’s been no music except for what they’ve sung for themselves and their throats are a good kind of raw and Grantaire feels free for the first time in his life, happy maybe for the first time in a really really long time and it’s weird but kind of good and then awful because it’s going to be gone so fast because nothing good stays ever and he can feel the smile melt off his face, like actually slide right off and hit the floor and sink into the mat at his feet, and Jehan sees it and he leans over and gently bites his earlobe which is a good distraction and sings in his ear, "I know you little libertine..." and Bahorel says, smacking the steering wheel, “Shit, I didn’t tell you fuckers who I saw at the fucking Vic!”

Summary
Enjolras hummed something under his breath as he tapped through his phone while Grantaire put his book in a paper bag, stapling the receipt to the outside. He smoothed the crumpled edges as best he could, then slid it back across the counter. Enjolras grabbed for it, still texting, and for a moment their hands brushed, his long, elegant fingers running against Grantaire’s in a way that made him catch his breath.
“Thanks for your business!” he forced out, pulling back like he’d been burned to prevent himself doing anything stupid.
“Thank you.” Enjolras tucked the package under his arm, sliding his phone back into his pocket.
“Good luck with Venezuela.”
“Good luck with people trying to steal your stuff.” Enjolras replied. “I’ll…” he hesitated, lingering in the doorway for a moment like he didn’t quite know what to say. “I’ll send you a postcard.”
Aka the Notting Hill AU nobody asked for, where Enjolras thinks he's the suavest man alive and Grantaire thinks he's doing a good job of hiding his feelings. Predictably, they fall in love.

Summary
“Okay,” Courfeyrac says, leaning closer to Combeferre “I’ve done something, and I didn’t really think it through, and it could be really good but it could also be really bad, and you absolutely cannot tell Enjolras.”
Nothing good has ever followed a sentence like that, especially where Courfeyrac is concerned. Combeferre sighs.
“Let’s hear it.”
“He’s an escort.”
Or,
Courfeyrac hires an escort, R, to help Enjolras get over his ex. It goes about as well as expected.

Summary
Enjolras is an incredibly efficient slut. Not wanting to get caught up in romantic drama, he has a system in place so he can meet boys, hook up with them, and then hardly ever see them again. Three times, maximum, in fact.
Grantaire thinks it a strangely cold way to go about fulfilling what are, for many people, base needs. And yet this is the man Grantaire falls helplessly in love with, much to his dismay.
So when Grantaire offers to get rid of the only “downside” Enjolras’ system has (IE. That by hooking up with a new guy every week he can never “get to know what they like”) by offering to be no-strings-attached friends with benefits, well, he’s literally and metaphorically fucked.
Meanwhile, Courfeyrac and Combeferre watch this trainwreck happen in slow motion, with nothing they can do- it certainly doesn’t help that they both have feelings for Grantaire, to boot.

Summary
Courfeyrac was sure he could keep his brother and his best friend apart after their nuclear breakup, even when they all got into the same college. Grantaire was sure he'd start to get over his high school girlfriend once he realized he was gay. And Enjolras was sure he would never see his "basic straight guy ex boyfriend" again when he moved across the country after graduation.
When they run into each other again three years later, Enjolras and Grantaire discover that old habits die hard...but some might be worth breaking. -

Summary
The stars were burning in the night sky. The hallways were dark, only lit by the pale emergency lighting above the doorframes. They tinted the hard wood floor and walls green, leaving the rest of the corridor in black shadows. The staircase beyond the glass door across the hallway, on the contrary, was floodlit and drenched in yellow. The harsh light there hurt the eyes of the late passers-by, the single young man who made his way upstairs was squinting against the lamps suspended from the ceiling. He yawned and padded further upstairs, passing one hallway after another, setting one foot in front of the other.
Grantaire makes a late night discovery that tips his world upside down as he enters unknown territory.
bc the author-human has tendonitis, the story will update every other Friday for the foreseeable future. My apologies...

Summary
Grantaire is the drummer in his NYC-based band, The Drunk Revolution. For the past four years he's been maintaining a steady but casual relationship with its guitarist, Montparnasse, while singer Eponine and bassist Bahorel grow more and more concerned. But when the band leaves Grantaire behind one weekend, out of town on a gig he's unable to attend, a new figure steps into their lives. Although this meeting between Grantaire and Enjolras is brief, it begins a whirlwind of a year that brings together new friends, dissolves old relationships, and beats on to the relentless rhythm of a drum.

Summary
"It seemed to be a fact of their nature at this point. Grantaire was snide. Enjolras was angry. Joly was worried. And it seemed that everyone was always shouting. But it was comfortable and familiar, and felt almost like a strange sort of home."
In which, Grantaire develops Tuberculosis and must come to terms with what he hasn't been able to face and has been eating away at him for so long. Time is no longer on his side, and there is so much left to be said.
I'm not great with descriptions, but if you're looking for something with a literary vibe and a side of rose-tinted tragedy, you've come to the right place.

Summary
"Let me come with you. It's not smart to go around fighting monsters on your own."
"Almost all hunters work alone."
"Doesn't make it any smarter."
In which Enjolras is going to save the innocent masses from the things that go bump in the night, and Grantaire is definitely either a lot more or a lot less than he appears. Neither of them can quite decide which it is.
